"Life begins at the end of your comfort zone"...and I reached mine at age 9.

I have always been involved in the arts in one way or another - from Drakensburg boys choir to sweeping stages at PACT in the 80's, the FIFA draw in 2010, and organizing, running and operating AFC in 2011.
A great belief of mine is that you're only as good as you're last show...and there have been many. Vodacom, Discovery, Standard Bank, Investec, Big Brother, SAMA, Idols SA, Volkswagen, Ducati, Mini, BMW, Miss SA, Fashion Week, Face of Africa, to name but a few - all running alongside countless product launches, documentaries, road shows, operas, dramas, musicals and industrial theatre.
Through all of it I drew value from learning something new in every experience and seeing a smile on the client's face.

My introduction into the industry was purely by chance, when I was offered a job at MJ Gear in 2002. After 4 years there I was head hunted by Strike Productions to assist in their quoting, logistics and operations. I could not have had been offered a better opportunity to learn all I could about this industry and experience greatness in terms of the scope of work that I was exposed to during my time with David Hossy and the awesome team I worked with. After David's exit from the industry at the end of 2009 I felt I needed to work with a SOLID team again and I am excited to share my knowledge and experience with my new team!!

2001 Marked my introduction to the event industry in Cape Town and my nine year career has seen me relocate to Johannesburg and the Kingdom of Bahrain, managing both small and largescale corporate events; i.e. conferences, exhibitions, concerts, galas, product launches, golf days, etc.

I currently drive Solid Rock’s sales and marketing initiatives with the hopes of giving an already notable figure in technical event production a bit of a makeover, while still preserving the good old fashioned SOLID ideals it was founded on.

In 1997 I worked as graphic designer and web master on brand activation for the Creative Lab. I went on to manage the graphic design team at ID graphics and Pulse Advertising. 
In 2006 I entered the event industry through Strike Productions as creative and set design manager working on:
